Hacktivism
The act of hacking driven by a political, social, or ideological cause rather than personal benefit. Hacktivists see their actions as a form of protest or a fight for what they consider justice, though it remains illegal in most cases when it involves damaging or exploiting someone else's technology or data.
"The group engaged in hacktivism by defacing websites to protest government policies, but their actions led to legal consequences."
